AUDITION INFORMATION
BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT
SYNOPSIS: Sir David Metcalfe QC is accused of murdering his wife and is defending himself in court as Defense Counsel. Act 1 is the Trial which finishes with the audience not knowing if he is guilty or not. Act 2 is 4 scenes which show events prior to the trial and 1 scene showing post-trial.
DIRECTOR: Mike Sheehan, director of A FEW GOOD MEN (2018) and ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST (2019).
DATES OF THE PRODUCTION: Fri 28th March 2025 (8pm), Sat 29th March (8pm), Sunday 30th March (2pm), Thur 3rd April (8pm), Fri 4th April (8pm), Sat 5th April (8pm), Sun 6th April (2pm).
AUDITIONS: Tuesday 3rd December (7pm) at Ballina Players Theatre 24 Swift St Ballina
MEET & GREET: Tuesday 10th December at the theatre 7pm), and a read-through
REHEARSALS: Tues 14th January (read-through), Mondays and Thursdays (7pm) from Monday 20th January, Sundays 2nd March, 9th March and 16th March (Times to be advised), Sunday 23rd March (double run, 10-4ish), Monday 24th March 6-finish), Tuesday 25th March (6-finish), Wednesday 26th March (6-finish), Thursday 27th March (7-finish).
